One of my new year's resolutions for 2012 has (of course) something to do with knitting. I've been thinking about it for a while, and I haven't taken the time yet, but I will definitely start writing my own patterns!
I begin today with a very easy one, created last year.
BOW RING
Puis coudre l'anneau. Rentrer les fils.
MATERIAL - 1 set of 2.5mm needles and a skein of yarn.
BOW - Cast on 34 stitches. Knit moss stitch for 12 rows and cast off. Sew the 2 edges together.
RING - Cast on 18 stitches. Knit 2/2 ribs for 4 rows and cast off. Sew the 2 edges together (so you make a ring).
FINISHING - Wire some wool around the bow and tighten, give it the shape you like, and sew a few stitches. Sew the ring. Weave in ends.
Love it!Looks hot :)
ReplyDeleteI'v knitted this ring. It's so beautiful. My bow turned out wonderful but the ring was too big so i had to improvise by wrapping the yarn in the middle to a ring i already had. It's so nice and i'll be knitting more for my friends. Thank you
ReplyDeleteHappy you like it :D
DeleteFantastic! I'm just knitting one right now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pattern,
KnittyNora xx
